Comprehensive restoration of front and chewing teeth with Straumann implants

In this case, the patient was concerned about a chipped front tooth, changes in the color and shape of the anterior teeth, and the absence of chewing teeth in the posterior regions.

In addition to aesthetic concerns, these issues resulted in reduced chewing efficiency and everyday discomfort.

During the examination, a fracture of the crown portion of tooth 2.1, enamel discoloration and wear of the anterior teeth, as well as partial tooth loss in the posterior regions of the lower jaw were identified.

To achieve full rehabilitation, it was necessary to address both aesthetic and functional problems simultaneously.

Treatment began with comprehensive diagnostics, including a photographic protocol, CT imaging, and digital 3Shape scanning.

After visualization of the future result, aesthetic rehabilitation of the anterior teeth was performed using metal-free E-Max ceramic veneers, restoring the shape, length, and natural appearance of the teeth.

To restore chewing function in the posterior regions, dental implant placement was performed, followed by prosthetic restoration with zirconia crowns on Straumann implants.

Result:

The aesthetic imperfections of the anterior teeth were eliminated, and their shape, color, and natural proportions were restored.

By replacing the missing chewing teeth, normal chewing function was restored, and the smile became harmonious, natural, and complete from both aesthetic and functional perspectives.
