Aesthetic restoration of front teeth with discoloration, old restorations and tooth wear

In this case, the patient was concerned about the uneven shape of the front teeth, uneven enamel color, and old restorations that negatively affected the aesthetics of her smile.

In addition, increased wear of the anterior teeth was observed.

During the examination, enamel discoloration, outdated fillings, altered tooth anatomy and proportions, as well as signs of anterior tooth wear were identified.

These changes negatively affected the overall appearance and harmony of the smile.

Treatment began with comprehensive diagnostics, including a photographic protocol, digital tooth scanning, and occlusal analysis.

After future smile visualization and approval of the tooth shape and color, minimal tooth preparation for ceramic restorations was performed.

To ensure comfortable adaptation, temporary restorations were placed, and at the final stage permanent E-Max ceramic veneers were bonded.

Result:

The proper shape and proportions of the anterior teeth were restored, the consequences of old restorations were eliminated, and a uniform bright enamel shade was achieved.

The smile became more harmonious, natural, and symmetrical while preserving the patient’s individual facial characteristics.
