In this case, the patient was concerned about aesthetic imperfections of the smile associated with wear of a front tooth, uneven positioning of the upper teeth, and noticeable defects of the premolars.
During the examination, wear of the incisal edge of tooth 1.1, retroposition of the upper front teeth, and aesthetic defects of teeth 1.4, 1.5, 2.4, and 2.5 were identified.
Although no functional disorders were detected, these changes negatively affected the appearance of the smile.
Treatment began with professional oral hygiene.
After a photographic protocol and future smile visualization, prosthetic rehabilitation of the upper jaw was performed using ceramic veneers.
During treatment, the anatomical shape of tooth 1.1 was restored, the visual position of the front teeth was corrected, and the aesthetic defects of the premolars were eliminated.
Result:
It was possible to restore harmonious proportions of the dental arch, improve the shape of the teeth, and eliminate noticeable aesthetic imperfections.
The smile became brighter, more symmetrical, and more natural while preserving the patient’s individual facial characteristics.
