In this clinical case, the patient presented with aching pain in a lower jaw tooth triggered by temperature stimuli, worsening in the evening, along with the presence of a carious cavity.
The examination revealed chronic pulpitis of tooth 4.6.
For treatment planning, a clinical examination and radiographic diagnostics were performed. Treatment was carried out under STA computer-assisted anesthesia using a Leica M320 dental microscope.
After thorough mechanical and chemical preparation of the root canals, they were hermetically sealed with warm gutta-percha.
Following the completion of the endodontic stage, a temporary filling was placed, and five days later the tooth was restored with Estelite Asteria composite material. To ensure long-term strength and stability, prosthetic restoration with an all-ceramic crown was recommended.
Result:
Pain was eliminated, pulp inflammation was resolved, and the tooth’s function was fully restored.
