In this clinical case, the patient presented with pain when biting in the area of tooth 2.5.
The examination revealed apical periodontitis of tooth 2.5.
For treatment planning, a CBCT scan was performed to assess the condition of the root canals and surrounding tissues.
Endodontic treatment was carried out under STA computer-assisted anesthesia with rubber dam isolation. Using a Leica M320 dental microscope, the root canals were revised, mechanically and chemically cleaned, and then hermetically filled with warm gutta-percha.
After treatment, the tooth was restored with Estelite Asteria composite material as a foundation for further prosthetic rehabilitation.
Result:
The inflammation was eliminated, pain was resolved, and a reliable foundation for the final restoration of the tooth was created.
