In this clinical case, the patient presented with severe aching pain in tooth 2.6. The patient had previously been refused treatment at another clinic due to the complex anatomy and significant curvature of the root canals.
During the examination and CBCT scan of the jaws, irreversible pulpitis of tooth 2.6 was diagnosed.
Treatment was performed under STA computer-assisted anesthesia with rubber dam isolation. Using a Seiler Evolution XR6 operating microscope, the root canals were prepared and hermetically sealed using the warm gutta-percha 3D obturation technique, after which the tooth was restored with Estelite Asteria composite material.
For long-term protection of the tooth, a full-anatomical zirconia crown fabricated using CAD/CAM technology was placed.
Result:
Pain was eliminated, and the tooth’s function was fully restored.
